CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a reputable pharmacy company and is seeking 3 customer service representatives:

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy CSR

Location: 90% Remote, some required days to attend training and events in office (located in The Colony)

Pay: $18.50/hr+ Based on Experience

Permanent Schedule After Training:

  • Schedules will vary and require rotating Saturdays. Must be flexible.

  • Hours of call center operation are 7:30 am to 7:00 pm on week days and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays.

  • In January, rotating peak season hours will be required to work from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sundays.

Training Schedule: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (primarily remote training, but will need to spend a few days in the office at the beginning of training

Job Description: The Customer Service Representatives will handle calls from pharmacy members, providers and pharmacies.

Job Duties:

  • Answer questions and handle problems with resolution on pharmacy benefit, provider or claim issues

  • Spend approximately 90% of time on phones

  • Provide world class white glove service

  • Follow up with members, providers, & pharmacies as necessary

  • Seek approval for overrides and Prior Authorizations as necessary and enter them into claims system upon approval

  • Data entry of member records with accurate information obtained on the call

  • Monitor pharmacy claims processing as necessary

  • Route calls to the appropriate department as needed

  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary


***Customer Service Representative must have 3 years minimum experience in healthcare benefits and/or pharmacy benefits management

*** Prefer Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • Two or more years telephone customer service experience in a related field

  • Must be able to type and talk at the same time and ability to multi-task systems

  • Respond well in a stressful, dynamic environment

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements

  • Flexible, uses critical thinking skills and open to learning new ideas/skills

  • Passion for helping customers

  • Experienced in pharmacy claim processing- minimum of 2 years

  • Knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacological terms.

  • Previous customer service experience required; call center experience preferred.

  • Effective collaborative skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills


  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience

  • Pharmacy Tech certified required

  • Strong PC skills Word and Excel required
