Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Scrum Master, Assistant Vice President for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Play a critical role in IT development projects, working with engineering, product management, and quality assurance teams to deliver value on concurrent projects.  Manage all aspects of projects, guiding and participating in requirements definition to post-implementation support, using industry standards and best practices for IT development.  Use expertise in Agile and Scrum best practices to provide guidance and support to teams, including the product owner and development teams. Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, plan the delivery of major product changes, future versions and new products, and clarify project needs to management and team members. Proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, ensuring that they are identified, mitigated or escalated as necessary. Work with the product owner and development team to facilitate effective sprints by removing impediments, and ensure stories are sprint-ready. Review current Agile processes, and will ensure the continuous improvement of processes.


Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field followed by one (1) year of experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Lead Agile digital transformations as SAFe Practitioner with experience involving Agile & Financial tools; Management of globally distributed agile team(s) engaged in IT projects for financial services; Implement project execution methodologies Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban & Test-Driven Development to shepherd team with Scrum execution for developing a high-quality software; Hands on Experience in Full Stack technologies; Implementation experience of Enterprise ETL Integration systems; Experience in implementation of CICD, Test Automation & Implementation Strategies; and Manage the development of complex systems which leverage datawarehouses, involve large-scale data migration, and incorporate AWS Cloud technologies.
