We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer that is part of a Cyber Security team. The team is looking for a knowledgeable engineer with a passion for learning, running various security systems, and an interest in the security domain. This role provides technical and tactical expertise to a 24x7 team of dedicated security engineers focused on maintaining operational stability while reducing risk, and collaborates globally across the organization with a variety of stakeholders from service desk technicians to system architects, and developers. The candidate needs to have strong problem-solving skills and be able to determine root cause along with providing relevant solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities -
Demonstrate knowledge of current cyber security standards needs to be maintained to provide proper guidance.
Collaborate and coordinate with critical infrastructure and network engineering teams to provide technical security requirements.
Access, analyze, and optimize operational tasks, functions and processes.
Provide technical and tactical expertise to a 24x7 team of dedicated security engineers focused on maintaining operational stability while reducing risk
Administer and maintain both network and endpoint security controls, primarily focused on tier 2/3 support.
Maintaining proper saturation of endpoint security controls; versions, scoping and exclusions.
Documentation of Knowledgebase articles, How-to's, policies and procedures.
Respond to alerts as they arise and troubleshoot to mitigate complex issues
Develop system performance metrics and create alerts and dashboards around them
Tune and make system optimizations
Perform periodic rolling application and operation system upgrades.
All employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and emergencies.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required to meet operational needs.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
7+ years of Cyber Security experience
Experience actively Debugging Attacks
Experience with Identity & Access, End Point Detection, Multi-Factor Authentication, End Point Detection
Experience with Endpoint Protection, NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, Proxy, PKI and Advanced Threat Protection.
Experience with cloud, automation and scripting.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities where you are the driving force ensuring completion and on-time delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a clear business relevant manner that is adjusted to the audience; up, down and across the organization.
Independent sound decision making is the skill most used on a daily basis.
Collaboration, mentoring and training members of your team

Proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good interpersonal, customer support, verbal and technical writing skills; be a self-starter with the ability to achieve deadline-driven priorities.
Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, exhibit professional initiative, self-direction, willingness and ability to document knowledge and share with others is required.
Strong communication skills and creativity as a problem solver is a must.
